Job overview
As a People Coordinator at Evans Hunt, you’ll be working to deliver a top-notch experience for our top-notch staff. In operational terms, that means supporting our human resource functions across the organization. While keeping up with the day-to-day functions of Human Resources, you’ll ensure that our employees are always the number one priority. This means you’re likely to find yourself juggling multiple tasks at once. No problem! You are, after all, a master of coordination.
Who we’re looking for
You’re a professional people-person, excited to deliver meaningful employee experiences with a human-centered lens. You’re an agile, prepared and proactive worker. You probably never forget a birthday. How could you, when you keep a list of the dates handy, alongside flawlessly timed calendar reminders? You love when things run like a well-oiled machine. (We do too.)
You have great attention to detail.
Nothing slips past you. You’re the first one in docs providing feedback, and the the last one to check things off. In fact, you’re so good with details that you probably caught the mistake in the last sentence. Impressive.
You're proficient in software like BambooHR, Microsoft Office, etc.
Your skill with these tools makes every day administrative functions a breeze.
You're collaborative. You love working with people to understand problems and find solutions. Creating strong relationships across disciplines is important to you.
You are organized. With so many moving parts to manage, you’re always one step ahead of everyone. You love a good spreadsheet and a well-organized folder structure. You wield your calendar like a finely honed blade, anticipating timelines before anyone else is even thinking of them. You probably crush at board games.
You communicate effectively. Whether it’s a call with an employee about an update or a meeting with a manager to discuss new processes, you can rattle off the facts and stats as needed.
You're flexible. You know when to hold your ground and when to adapt your approach or recommendations based on feedback. You win the hearts and minds of people by helping them ask the right questions, probing when necessary.
A day in the life
No two agency days are the same. One day you may be helping the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee with their action plans, the next day you could be supporting managers in recruiting talented candidates (like yourself!).
That said, there are some activities that are likely going to take up most of your time:
